200. Working Like a Horse

The next time you’re having a bad day at work, be glad you’re not a horse.  Be very glad.

I found the photos in my email this morning, sent by our friend Linda Lewis.  Good timing.  I had just been congratulating myself on preparing to write today’s blob – which is the 200th.  Only 165 to go till I hit the big eight-Oh birthday.

If I had any doubt about being able to corral the time and energy to spit out 165 more “logs”, I don’t now.  If horsies can do do it, the great Octo-woman will rise to the challenge. I hope.

Of course, just as the horses can take all the credit for getting the logs to the sawmill, neither can Octo-woman.  Many of these blobs are “seeded” by folks like Linda, my sister, Joan, and everybody who keeps giving me ideas, images, and subject matter.

Thank you for sticking with me on this long trip. I’m very glad to be a passenger on the coach – not the horse pulling it.

I am amazed by your commitment and how you always find something interesting to share every day! I really enjoy your blog and hope you will continue after your birthday, though I will totally understand if you slow it down a little. You are working like a horse!
